The Chess Academy welcomes our newest Grand Master to the team, GM Julio Sadorra. “The Sensation” earned his final GM norm a few years ago crushing opponents with his King’s Indian defense in as far away as U.A.E.The United Arab Emirates. Sadorra who was born in the Philippines is now a senior on The UT Dallas Chess team has more chess accolades than even “The Dark Knight” can count. This extremely personable chess aficionado is almost too nice off the board to battle so fiercely on the chess board. He will complete his degree in Applied Math this year. Look out, TCA has one of the most powerful weapons at our disposal, Grand Master Julio “The Sadorra Sensation.”
